This afternoon, I was at The Reject Shop Kiama. I actually loathe shopping, but found myself needing a couple of little things I didn’t want to go into Woolies for. Trying to avoid eye contact to get out of there quickly.. I was greeted by the friendliest, cheerful service from a boy named Jed. He genuinely asked how my day was, asked if I wanted to buy some stuff on sale (up selling) and so kindly wished me a Merry Christmas and to have a nice day. Amazing customer service will absolutely make someone’s day & today he just made an already good day, even better. At a time when we’re all over stressed, over work, over Christmas shopping, a small gesture of kindness/friendliness, even when I’m sure they are over it, went a long way. If you’re this boy’s parent, you did good. I know it’s his job, but that boy needs a big Pat on the back for doing his job so well 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🎄🎅🏼

This is the go to place for unexpected bargains in Kiama. We visit infrequently but every time we do I find some real bargain. Everything from dishwasher tablets at half the price of the big supermarkets to electric fly swats that really work. Really worth a visit if you're in the vicinity.

One of my favourite places to shop with a great range of reasonably priced products for everyday use. Great spot to shop for that unusual gift or something different without the need to spend too much.
