Just one word: amazing! I was there for the weekend between the Nov 22-24 and I honestly wish I had had more time so I could do the 5 days-long version instead. I went by myself but made friends quickly, it's difficult not to get close with others! The camp was great, very clean and friendly, the food was great, and the people running it were super nice and always ready to help. I stayed in the newly renovated house and it was very comfortable, it was very close to the camp, on the way to the beach. It was my very first time surfing and I had so much fun! My coaches were Sophie and Zac, and they were so good, they managed to get us all standing by the end of it! I cannot recommend this enough, I'd definitely go again for longer
Absolutely loved surf camp. Staff were amazing (shoutout to everyone). I interacted more with Diego which is a fantastic and such a fun and enjoyable instructor. Also with Brie who was so kind and cheerful with us 🥲 They really taught us a lot and were able to give us personal feedback on the water even though we were a big group. The food was really good as well. The group of people and the atmosphere at camp was also so good. Would recommend 100/10, one of my favourite experiences travelling the east coast.

Once in a lifetime experience! I had the best 3-day experience at surf camp. I learned so much in such a short amount of time while always feeling looked after and safe. Everyone (staff, coaches, Diego) made surf camp what it is with their energy, jokes, and kindness. I feel confident enough now to surf on my own which was my goal going into this. But also be prepared for so much more than surfing - great photos, delicious meals, making friends, fun games, beautiful scenery, etc. I would recommend this camp to anyone & everyone!
I visited the December 16-18 camp and would 100% recommend this surf camp for anyone looking for their first experience on a board. From the beautiful location to the excellent facilities, surf camp Australia really impressed us on our 3-day stay. But what really made the trip special for us was the incredible team at surf camp. From the wonderful friendly volunteers and maintenance staff to the kitchen team creating delicious, filling meals each day to the fantastic surf instructors, we were made to feel super comfortable and safe at camp. I was a nervous surfer, but all of the instructors helped me get comfortable on the waves and by day 3 I was standing up on the board, riding waves, and having an absolutely brilliant time! And my partner just had the most incredible time from start to finish, he took to it like a natural but he learned so much about slowing down, speeding up, turning, and of course all the important info about safety, surfing etiquette and more! If you’re visiting Australia, please give these guys a visit to have the ultimate surfing experience and learn skills that you can use all over the world! :D
