The food and the local are awesome. We had our breakfast this morning and it was fantastic. The views to the sea 🌊 are very pleasant. Totally recommended place to visit. Also very good point is you can book online and have your email confirmation. The service was fast and efficient #smashavolover #kiama #pancakes

The gem of Kiama. Twice we were here and there was never any disappointment. We felt so lucky to get a table as walk in customers the first time ; then we decided to come back the 2nd time in Kiama. Impeccable view for sunset and sunrise . And the staff were so patient with kids too ! ( dunno about yours but mine is quite indecisive when it comes to place the order ) . Generous portion , great taste and they look so appealing too . 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 in all aspects . Strongly recommended .

Amazing food! Highly recommend. We ordered take away breakfast on a rainy day in Kiama and the order was prepared so quickly. We got the Benny, avocado and lime, banana bread and honey roasted granola. Every meal was fresh and delicious! Quite expensive but I am willing to pay for good quality food like this. Worth every cent. Highly recommend!!!

Lovely relaxed atmosphere in such a busy period. The chicken pumpkin salad was delicious.
But I would like to see more low carb options on the menu
The service was great, including the photography. Thanks again, sorry I didn’t catch the name of our very pleasant host

We recently had a 12 noon lunch booking for 4. We placed our order by 12.15 which comprised of a number of salads. This was served after 45minutes and during this wait we had to attract the waitresses ( who appeared totally uninterested in serving the customer) to arrange drinks. By 1.30pm, some 30 minutes into our meal we were asked to vacate for the next booking. It wasn’t till I mentioned we only got served 30 minutes ago did they say we could remain. Naturally I was not impressed.
Nevertheless we decided to give them a second chance, because we liked the location, and prior to leaving we booked a table for 9 for the following weekend. We nominated a particular table adjacent to the open air window and were told that would not be a problem.
However, upon arriving for our meal we were placed / squashed up in the corner without any apology and not given the table we booked. As a consequence it was extremely noisy and unfortunately the serving staff still had a complete disregard for customer… no customer service at all.
To top it off, the pancakes were dry, the omelet was burnt and the steak sandwich was minimalist.
I don’t think we will give them a 3rd chance.
