The food and the local are awesome. We had our breakfast this morning and it was fantastic. The views to the sea are very pleasant. Totally recommended place to visit. Penny whistlers is a phenomenol cafe, the food is always great. Everytime i come here i get the bubble n squeak and I am never disappointed.
My wife and I recently had dinner here and the beef cheeks with Paris mash left me speechless with how good it was.

The experience was disappointing. The waiting time was excessively long, and the fish and chips is very plain and unremarkable.
What concerned me most was the lack of hygiene. I saw a female staff member pick up dirty tissues from the toilet floor and then walk straight into the kitchen without washing her hands!! She was also the one who pretend not to hear me when I call her.
After reading other reviews, it seems this rude attitude is a recurring issue. The owner’s responses to negative reviews are defensive rather than constructive, showing no willingness to improve customer service.
Definitely would not recommend.

Ordered the Eggs Benedict and it was wonderful. The serving size was really generous and worth the price. Drinks were also good. Staff were welcoming and friendly as they greeted us when we walked in the café. The view is also amazing as the cafe faces the beach front. Overall amazing would recommend to anyone that wants to eat out for brunch with a good view

The Penny Whistlers cafe was a perfect spot to have breakfast. The huge windows were fully opened to reveal the beautiful beach views and allowed the summer breeze to blow in. It was lovely. There were plenty of tables and chairs inside and out. The outdoor seating is pet friendly and the whole place was very accessibility friendly. We had breakfast and everything was great.
