We enjoyed our stay at the Nova Kiama. It was very close to the railway station which was convenient for us. The rooms were fresh, minimalist and modern. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom neat and clean. There was a lift. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. There was a van selling coffee and snacks at the entrance, associated with the hotel. We ate dinner at the pub adjoining the building, the Grand Hotel, which had a great atmosphere and menu. It was a manageable walk to the main street and attractions.

We really enjoyed our time staying at Nova. It was excellent value for money. The location was excellent being central to everything Kiama has to offer. It was also close to Kiama railway station but had absolutely no train noise at all.
A few small tweaks could make it even better. These things have been mentioned in other reviews but appear not to be a priority at the moment:
* Towel rails rather than just two hooks in the bathroom.
* The air conditioning is noisy
* The TCL TV has possibly the most complex navigation ever. Setting up a home page with all channel choices is hardly something a guest wants to spend time doing hence the limited channels on the TV in our room. Each subsequent guest must simply give up as well. There must have been a great deal on the TV's but the set-up should not be left to guests. Even turning it off required another step confirming you wanted to turn off the power? The strong tiny light at the bottom of the TV shone over the bed at night. We ended up sticking cardboard over it to make the room dark.

Fantastic location and very friendly, helpful staff at reception. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Great pool and the gym was open til late. Walking distance to great cafes , restaurants and across the road from Kiama beach. Loved the Combi cafe, so unique !! This hotel is truly a hidden gem.
Definitely book our next family holiday here again .

We had the room with a king and a pullout couch in the living room/kitchen and everything was immaculately clean. We had a pool view and two balconies to enjoy it from. At the hotel lobby was a cool VW converted van where we got our coffee and pastries. Cafe feel seating was available also. We were greeted by the lady named Rachel, who was helpful and efficient throughout our stay. A little floral shop called 'The Wildflower Studio' was next to the reception desk - perfect compliment to the boutique hotel. You can't beat the location being so close to the train station (without hearing noise) , the beach and the stores. To get to the Blowhole on foot, it took about 12-15 mins.

The staff are great. The Queen bed very average. There were no tissues in the room no Glasses to drink water from that annoyed me as it is quite often the little things. The Hotel next door has great food. We had lunch there i liked it. The Hotel is very old but great. Kiama is beautiful so many small shops and restaurants, absolutely beautiful. Wish we had that where we live.
