The Nova hotel is a lovely boutique hotel. I stayed o/n recently; wasn’t planned; just had a day down at Kiama and was too tired to drive back to Sydney. The room was excellent, pool nice although quite small and the gym was great. The room was reasonably priced but the best thing about my experience was the amazing staff (shout out to Elizabeth) So friendly and accommodating. I usually stay at another hotel in Kiama when I visit (which is quite often); I’ll now be staying at Nova; I highly recommend it!
Stay at the Nova regularly on work trips, & I always enjoy my overnights here with a comfy bed & quiet environment. Well located, a short walk to all shops & food outlets. I’m still trying to work out why an iron is provided in the room, but no ironing board. Maybe it’s on the to-do list. Other than that issue, it’s a nice little hotel.
Lovely new Hotel. Clean, neat, tidy and sound proof. Great location, easy walk to main street, park, marina, train station. Had everything we needed for a stopover. Yes, car park is tight but you don't need to use it. Morning coffee from the combi van downstairs was perfect !
Possibly the best front of house staff I have met. Extremely helpful and friendly. Location was perfect, close to shops, pubs, beaches, and lovely walking paths around the headland. Train to Sydney up one block but no noise in rooms at all. Highly recommend.
While we enjoyed our stay at Nova Kiama, we don't believe it is a 4 star hotel. No comfortable seating in the room was a negative, as was the lack of any shelving or storage area in the bathroom. While it is an excellent idea to reuse towels, the hooks do not allow the towels to dry as well as towel rails do. The staff were all very pleasant, the location excellent for people coming by train, and the rooms were spotlessly clean.
