Just had the most delightful seafood platter. There is so much on the tray it was a bit of a struggle for 2 to get through. Easily could do 3 people. The garlic prawns and tomato mussels were beautiful- btw, very nice margharita as well

Review: While the service was satisfactory and the staff were friendly, the food quality was unfortunately poor. My partner’s nachos seemed as though they had been sitting out for quite some time, lacking freshness. The chicken schnitzel I ordered was particularly disappointing—it tasted pre-packaged and air-fried, served with chips that were equally underwhelming. To make matters worse, my in-laws waited over half an hour for their meals, only to find that the wrong order had been placed on their buzzer. When they followed up, it became clear there had been a mix-up, which only added to the frustration. Despite the pleasant ambiance, the subpar food quality and mix-ups with orders significantly detracted from the overall dining experience. Would not return based on this visit.

In a great location this place could be so much better. On my first visit the bar man pointedly served the locals before me and even stopped mid order to serve someone else. Foolishly I went back a second time. Not as bad but still utterly charmless.

I came here to watch the game with friends, and initially, the service was excellent—they even turned up the TV volume when we asked. However, after we had one drink, a young man working at the bar was sent over to inform us that we were unwelcome. He explained that he was just relaying a message from the manager. When we approached the manager, she served us but later came over, raising her voice and reiterating that we were not welcome. I spoke to her privately while she was eating, and she admitted she would serve us but not one of my friends due to a personal issue from the past. We ordered another drink, but then she refused to serve us further, clearly discriminating against us because of her dislike for our friend. To make matters worse, after we sat down, she sent a staff member to take away the drinks we had already paid for. I’m fairly certain this is illegal, and it was incredibly disappointing, especially since the pub itself and the other staff were great. The manager’s behavior really ruined the experience.

A few weeks ago, my girlfriend and I went to Kiama inn for dinner on our holiday. Unfortunately there was a dead moth inside of our food and obviously weren’t happy. After we discovered the dead moth, I took it back to the counter and the young lady brought the manager out to talk to me. I said this is unacceptable because of the dead moth inside my food. I was disappointed by the customer service I received from the manager, and how the situation was handled by her. She started by getting defensive and trying to put the blame on me, by accusing me of lying. She said “how do I know you didn’t put it in there yourself”, “it was definitely not us, I can guarantee you”, “You probably put it there yourself”. Afterwards, she then went to make claims “You were sitting outside, so the wind must have blown it”. Then she changed her story when she realised we were actually sitting inside, “you were sitting next to the door”. The door was no where close enough to us to blow. It was not windy. The window next to us was closed. (See picture). My partner came back after throwing up in the bathroom clearly unwell, and the manager still refused to believe it was even in anyone’s mouth. I question the cleanliness of their kitchen if they can allow a big dead moth to be put into the food, and if there is even any quality control. I would had liked a full refund due to reasons of health concerns, but only received for the meal ordered. The manager did not even acknowledge our areas of concern, only responded with being defensive and accusatory. I understand if it was an accident, but at least own up to it being your restaurant and don’t blame your customers when you don’t even know if it was them. This was our experience, wasn’t the best, but main point is that I did not appreciate how the situation was handled.
