Our stay had some highlights, but also a few issues worth noting for future guests. First, the location is absolutely beautiful, with easy access to great spots around Kiama, plus nearby options for dining and groceries, which made things very convenient. The cabin itself was clean and well-maintained, so it’s clear they take care of the facilities.
However, there were some aspects of our experience that were unexpected. We booked in advance during the 2023-2024 financial year, assuming the quoted price would stay fixed, but were informed that rates could change by our stay in the 2024-2025 financial year. When we reached out to ask about it, the response felt rather terse and didn’t offer much clarity.
Inside the cabin, while it was very tidy, the lighting was bright and clinical, with a flickering fluorescent above the bed in the second bedroom that only worked when adjusted. A softer, warmer lighting setup or bedside lamps would have made the space feel more inviting. There was also no fan in the second room, and even with windows open, the room stayed stuffy due to the cabin’s layout limiting airflow.
Lastly, only one parking spot was provided per cabin, which was challenging since we had two couples travelling from different locations in NSW.
Overall, we enjoyed the beautiful setting and found the location convenient, but a few adjustments could make the stay even more comfortable and guest-friendly.

This park may be in a great location. However, we arrived in a motorhome and were assigned spot 41, which was so close to number 40 that our slide-out was under their awning. Be cautious when booking.

Our first visit to Kiama & and the first visit to Kendall's On The Beach.
What a fantastic park facility.
Highly recommend & will definitely be coming back with friends.
A huge thankyou to the staff on checking in. My wife walked in after being on the road for hrs & were immediately accommodated within the park & on the front.

Everything about this site is positive—well-kept, tidy, and in an excellent location.
However, for tent campers, there’s a small drawback. I stayed 11 nights at a premium rate but was placed in the least ideal spot for sunny days (and there were many). Despite requesting a shady site, I was given a standard policy response and left with no option—spot #49 is best avoided.
Overall, it was a beautiful stay, but a lingering sense of being overlooked left a slight mark. For longer stays outside winter, I’d recommend choosing a park that takes the time to listen to guest requests.
This time, the art of negotiation wasn’t in my favor—better luck next time!

Excellent caravan park. Amenities were very spacious and clean. Less than 50m walk to a lovely beach. The walk into town is not to bad (a little hilly) but doable. It took us around 20 mins. We would definitely return.
