Disappointing Experience – Rude Service & Substandard Food
I had high hopes for this restaurant, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a complete letdown. The food was far from authentic and lacked the rich flavors one would expect from a good Indian meal. Dishes were either overly greasy, bland, or simply not prepared well.
What made the experience worse was the attitude of the owner. Hospitality seems to be a foreign concept here, as we were met with rudeness instead of warmth. To top it off, the staff had the audacity to bring us the bill before we even finished our meal, as if we were being rushed out the door.
A restaurant should not just be about serving food - it’s about creating an experience that makes customers feel welcome. Sadly, this place fails on both counts. With so many great Indian restaurants around, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere for a more pleasant dining experience.

Here’s a well-balanced and engaging restaurant review comment:
"Had an amazing dining experience at Curries and Spirits! The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The service was attentive and friendly, making us feel truly welcomed. The ambiance was perfect for a relaxed meal, and the attention to detail was impressive. Will definitely be back soon."

Decent food with great views of the beach. The kadhai paneer is worth a try. Biryani was very spicy and the Amritsar kulcha didn’t have much filling. Service was slow.

I couldn't help but feel the prices didn’t quite match the quality of the food. The dishes were good, but at that price point, I was expecting a more elevated experience.
Hygiene 4/10

Nice food with a great view of sea. We ordered chikka tikka masala and garlic naan. It's very tasty. And not that much costly. If you're going Gerringong then I will suggest to eat from here.
