The food was okay. They could improve the bread for burger buns. It seemed stale and not very fresh. Not very inviting to eat. The fried basket was overdone. Oily and not the best. Seafood salad and chips were pretty good in the basket. Other takeaway places around Kiama are way fresher and lighter in oil, which I've reviewed. Takeaway took quite a while, as they were busy. Maybe a couple more staff would help! There is no real atmosphere here, just sitting on the main street, noisy. You can go across the road and sit in the park on new seats. Recommended seating!

Definitely the best fish and chips venue in Kiama. Busy holiday season and seven adults and kids to feed - everyone enjoyed it. Plenty of options beyond fish and chips if you choose.

This restaurant was a bit of a surprise for me as I expected it to be a fish and chip shop. While the menu consists of some battered fish and chip options it operates primarily as an Indian take away store. I unfortunately don't have a review for the Indian food which looked quite nice behind the counter, but we ordered fish cocktails, chips and potato scallops. The food we received was fairly average. The food was quite oily which is expected from a fish and chip shop, however it definitely didn't seem like this was the business speciality. Serving size for chips was quite generous however they were quite average. Fish cocktails were very small from what I would have expected from a fish and chip shop and were quite dry on the inside. In my honest review, the expectation of fresh fish and chips at a coastal town was not met, maybe next time we will order some of the Indian food they have to offer.

Great location and great atmosphere but the food is a real let down. Calamari rings were dry and hard as if they had been frozen for years. Flathead was also frozen old fish and definitely not fresh. Chips were great and crunchy even though I asked for a salad instead. The menu isn’t flexible with changing fish in the seafood basket. Maybe other things on the menu might be better?

Along Kiama Centerpoint, there are numerous fish and chip stalls. We chose this one because of its many ratings, but when we arrived, the shop was surprisingly quiet. During our visit, there were only 1-2 other customers doing takeaways, which made me question why it had so many reviews but so few patrons. I told myself it was mid-week, and many people were likely at work or eating at home. We ordered the Fisherman’s Basket to share. The salad was the standout, but the seafood was disappointing—hard and lacking freshness. It was evident that the food wasn't freshly prepared; it had been fried beforehand and was just reheated. The bottled drink was AUD 5, which felt quite overpriced. My curiosity about the lack of crowd despite the high number of reviews was answered when, towards the end of our meal, a staff member asked us to quickly review our experience. This likely explains the many reviews despite the shop being relatively empty during our visit.
