Had lunch @Stacks in Kiama today. We ordered a delicious Hot Bird Burger and a Classic Burger, washed down with Balter's Eazy Hazy on tap and a Coke Zero. The eatery is beautifully decorated, staff very efficient and friendly and great food. We will definitely be back! . . . #Burger #Kiama #kiamansw #kiamacafe #craftbeer #friedchickenburger #nsweats #southcoastnsw
Love the coffee it is the best in Kiama The staff are just lovely always friendly and smiling. The only issue is it ashame they have bistro Chef I order poached eggs on gluten free free bread big mistake , The bread was flat and so hard i couldn’t eat it also no butter on It , eggs the only thing I could taste was vinegar I ask for soft the came out hard . It could be a really great cafe if it had better chefs that loved cooking . Also quite dirty Could do with a good paint and a new menu as it is mostly deeper fried .
Can't rate the burgers at Stacks highly enough... Ordered a BLT takeaway for a change and it was awful... Bacon flabby (not crispy as per the menu), toasted bread fell apart as it was soggy... And who toasts a sandwich with the lettuce already in it? Major disappointment.
This is an absolute gem. I took a break from doing laps of the beach and had breakfast here. A very relaxed vibe. I had the pancakes & a fantastic coffee. Strongly recommend and plan to go back next time I'm down that way.
Located opposite the surf club near the beach in Kiama Downs, Stacks Eatery is chic and welcoming. There is a warm yet modern interior to greet you as you walk in the front door, along with friendly staff. There is a display of pastries, muffins, muffins and tarts in the display window by the front counter to wet your appetite and entice you. The menu is extensive and you can have breakfast throughout most of the day. There is a Buddha bown and poke bowl for the health conscious, though most of the menu is health focused. There are burgers that are served with fries and you can have a meal deal that includes a Balter beer. The specials board in enticing. On this occasion the Buddha bowl with drilled chicken had a generous serve and had a good balance or texture, flavour and wieght. Not too heavy nor too light. The immunity booster juice wasn't too sweet and complemented the meal well. Completing the visit was a very wonderful Portuguese tart. The custard was well baked, and was light and fluffy. Service is quick and there is extensive seating indoors and a few tables outside. A great place to stop into whilst doing the beach walks.
