The week I spent at Surf Camp Australia was one of the best experiences I had here! Initially, I had only booked a 3-day experience, but already after the first surfing lesson, I toyed with the idea of extending my stay to 5 days, which I ended up doing, and this was the correct decision! Surfing in and of itself is already an amazing activity, but pair this with the great instructors, all-round care and general vibe of the Surf Camp, and you get one of the best times ever. Everyone in the group made quick progress and was excited to go back out into the water. After each lesson we were treated to a plentiful meal to regain strength. I can only highly recommend everyone to give it a try and do the full five days!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an incredible experience at this surf camp! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, making me feel at home right away. The location is absolutely beautiful, just a short walk from the sea, which made it super convenient to get to the beach for our surfing lessons. One thing I really appreciated was how accommodating they were with dietary requirements. They offer a range of healthy and delicious options, which made it so easy to enjoy my meals worry-free. Plus, the free fruit available all day long was a fantastic bonus! The surf lessons were top-notch. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to improve your skills, they teach you everything you need to know. The instructors were patient and really knowledgeable, helping me to build confidence on the board. If you're looking for a perfect mix of relaxation, fun, and learning to surf, this is the place to be!
I had an amazing experience! Could not have asked for better weather, a beautiful beach, and a great group of fun and supportive staff. If I've ever seen professional surfers, it's the instructors at surf camp! The food was delicious, clean services, and an overall sweet and welcoming atmosphere at the camp in Gerroa. Thank you Surf Camp!
I had 2 days of surfing at the Surf Camp and everything was perfect. We surfed 6 hours and although we were large groups the instructors were able to give feedback to everyone. The food was good and the rooms, toilets and common areas always clean. All the crew was nice and we had a great time!
I did the weekend surf camp. The vibe was nice at the camp and I liked the instructors. However I thought the group was way too big, there were about 90 people on the camp. We got divided into two big groups and then three smaller groups. But we were still about 17 people to two instructors. In my opinion this is not enough at all. There is only very little one on one time with the instructors. I had done 12 surf lessons before so I kind of knew what to do, but I cannot imagine as an absolute beginner that you get something out of this as you need a lot of help in the beginning with surfing. I spoke to some first timers and they had a lot of fun though. I liked it that there was a good amount of theory lessons on both days. I really learned something here. You are in a room with 6 other people, the rooms are very small. In my opinion a little too cosy and simple for what you pay. Food was nice though.
