Service was attentive but unfortunately the food was really bad, especially for the price. Very few toppings on our pizza at all - looked and tasted very unappetizing. Can't remember ever seeing a pizza look this bad. Some of the other food we had was ok but not great. Our cutlery was also covered in dried food, though they quickly replaced them with freshly-washed sets.
Avoid the pizzas at all costs.

Visiting Kiama for a holiday and decided for our last night that we would order in some Italian. It was a 90 minute wait when we called, which was fine considering the dinner rush and we were happy to wait.
We ordered a prosciutto, rocket and Parmesan pizza, a spaghetti bolognaise and a spaghetti marinara.
When the food arrived, the pizza was cold and looked completely uncooked. The pasta tasted and looked like tinned spaghetti. The marinara had what tasted like reheated-frozen seafood. Bland and mushy.
Disappointed to say the least for a $100 meal.
We called the restaurant about the pizza and they advised that all the toppings are added to the pizza base after the base is cooked.
I gave the service 3/5 as they were willing to send another pizza to us. We requested a cooked pizza with the topping cooked (noting we were happy for an alternate pizza-type if the one we ordered didn’t have cooked topping).
We received a second, worse pizza.
The rocket was in a container (deconstructed-style), it looked as if it had no Parmesan on it whatsoever and the prosciutto was so stingy.
Embarrassingly bad food.

Zia’s used to be our family go-to spot when it was on Manning Street, and we always looked forward to dining there whenever we visited Kiama. This was our first time at the new location, but sadly it was a major letdown. It seems like the place has completely lost its cosy Italian family vibe and the authentic homemade food we loved. The garlic bread tasted like cheap frozen stuff, and the pizza bases were brittle, flavorless, and clearly came frozen in a box. The toppings were disappointing too, pre-shredded deli ham and pre-cooked chicken straight out of a packet. The service didn’t help matters either. It felt perfunctory at best. The kitchen and wait staff were a group of teenagers more interested in hanging out behind the bar than taking care of customers. The young lady at the door didn’t even bother walking us to our table, just pointed to an empty one. She took our order and brought the food, but there was no friendliness or engagement, not even a smile or a check-in on our meal. No shade to them, they’re just kids doing the bare minimum for a paycheck, but need guidance and supervision. Honestly, we left wishing we’d just got pizza at Domino’s for half the price. At least they make their own pizza dough! Sadly, this will be our last visit to Zia’s.

When Zia's was at Manning St, the food was excellent (9/10). Since they moved to Collins St, I was very disappointed with the food. It has deterated.
Had the Saganaki Prawns & Garlic Prawns. Prawns serving was generous, but taste and balance were not there. 4/10
The Meatlover pizza was not the same as in Manning St it's 6/10.
Desert - The Tiramisu was just an ordinary sponge cake, no liquor with a strawberry and cream - 0/10.
I have a feeling there is a change of ownership. I will not return.

Ordered the fungi ( mozzarella, garlic and basil) the pizza was overcooked, dry, and bland… could not taste or smell any garlic or basil… very disappointed. ☹️
