Situated in an old quarry site is BURNETTS on BARNEY.Firstly you are greeted by Historical Photos that pay homage to the horses and men who worked the quarry. A wonderful plant and garden Nursery, the plants are healthy & some unusual varieties ever seen. They also have Landscaping supplies and mature trees. Garden art forms interesting ideas for your needs. We loved the Cafe, for a quick stop or a light lunch. There's a resident musician and singer, adds to the ambiance. The garden rooms hold lots of goodies, from hand made lampshades, and indoor pots, cards and lots of gift ideas. A great place to visit and get enthused about your home.

This is a fabulous l business which adds quality to the township of Kiama. Love looking at the bare faced walls of the quarry and pondering the history - if only walls could talk. The garden centre is always a study of the colour wheel. Many beautiful nursery items can be purchased here to be given as lovely gifts. The cafe sells great cake and coffee. Sometimes there is music!!

I gave them the benefit of the doubt the last time, when I waited 15 minutes while they fumbled around trying to price a pot that I wanted to buy, i gave up in the end and went elsewhere. This time they didn't even bother to get out of a chair to serve their customers, i stood there for about 8 minutes while I was totally ignored by a staff member eating her lunch, no; 'oh hi there, I'm just on break, but I will get you some help' nothing - totally ignored. I will not be going back and recommend other customers save their time, energy, and money and go elsewhere also. Likely the worst customer service in the Illawarra, possible the entire NSW state. Avoid !
