Nice and accessible board walk all the way to the waterfall. Car park is seriously large but on a busy day it will easily be full.
Lots of benches along the way up for you to rest your legs and bathe in the forest.
Interesting birds abound. The Lyre Bird was interesting. The one we saw made sometime that sounded like sirens. Hahaha

Located at 345 Minnamurra Falls Road, Jamberoo, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 on the eastern edge of the Budderoo National Park. The starting point for the walk through the rainforest is at the visitor centre. The staff are very helpful and will point you in the direction of a walk that best suits your fitness level and capabilities. The Rainforest Loop walk is 1.6km long and takes about 1 hour, depending upon how fast you walk. Halfway through, you will see signs for the falls walk, a detour worth taking if you have time. This was stunning, it was an easy walk, there are some inclines but we had someone pushing a wheelchair and they managed. Sadly we didn’t get to reach the waterfall because we were on a timeline but it still was definitely worth the visit. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. Absolutely beautiful.
Open daily from 9.00am until 4.00pm except closed for Christmas Day.
Park Entry Fees ($12 per vehicle) apply for vehicles 🚗 at the Minnamurra Rainforest Centre Carpark.
Park Entry Fees -
Adult - $4.40
Child - $2.20
There are flush toilets at the visitor centre including a disability accessible toilet. A Big Thumbs Up 👍👍👍

Beautiful Rainforest. There is a trail of a 3 km return to see the waterfall. Trail is steep in slope at some places. Limited parking is available and is almost full on public holidays. There is a little cafe as well in the visitor centre and needs to buy a parking ticket for 12$.

For the over 60's. Solid boardwalk and paved path. The Lyrebird loop is a gradual incline, challenging at times, then easy decline. One bridge is still closed so you turn around and go back.
The waterfall trail is quite steep and feels like it will never end. My calves complained on the way up and my knees on the way down. I stop, catch my breath, look/take photos so the whole thing took me 3h40mins. If you don't stop to look around, 2 hours would be plenty.
Was it worth it? The falls are beautiful but nothing stands out over other falls of this class.
Being a national park, this is a pristine park, look but don't touch so the water is off limits.
At least do as much of Lyrebird Loop as you can to spot the lyrebirds, but start before 10.30am. They hide after that.

Minnamura Rainforest Centre
Review on 28/4/2024
The ticketing is rather seniors unfriendly, neither are the direction signs. There are not indication about the distances of the loops, or the difficulty of the walk.
It may be a delight for some trackers, but my sight and health conditions make me turn back after a short climb.
Scenic wise, it is not very spectacular to be a tourist attraction, and I cannot comment on the waterfall nor the lyrebird.
The Information Centre has high ceiling with beautiful lighting pattern, but the centre is rather dim and therefore uninviting.
