The worst customer care, my tyres aren’t even bold and they turned my 2017 sr5 down for a rego check, plenty of tred on the rear tyres and they knocked it back, they’re trying to do things too professionally if you’re looking for somewhere easy going and will help you, definitely not the place, my tires still has 3 months worth and they still knocked it back

Not happy at all after my experience with Kiama Auto Services. Booked in to get my radiator fixed and was never given a fixed price. I said it's an old car, I'm selling and Im not spending over a certain amount as I had other options to get it fixed. They said they would take a look and let me know what needed to be done but then instead just ordered the parts without telling me and essentially locked me in. I wasn't very happy with the price (because I know it's expensive for what it is but I was trying to support a local business after moving to the area).
They kept the car over the weekend and when starting the work the next week I said they needed to call me if anything went wrong and price was expected to be different yet instead they just charged me double what they said at the start, wouldn't budge on price and completely disrespected my choices. At no point did they communicate with me as they said they would, at no point was I given a choice to go ahead with anything or backout and they charged me way more than my maximum price and then blew off any responsibility for it. They also told my boyfriend different figures for parts when he went to pick up the car which just shows they were making the price up on the spot and taking advantage of me and my situation with a car needing to be repaired.

DON'T USE THIS BUSINESS. The new manager Alex is abusive and terrible. He is an angry little man with a big chip on his shoulder. He is not a mechanic and has no experience. He doesn't understand customer service. He yelled at me last time I was there. Everyone around stopped and looked as he kept yelling at me because I pulled up in front of the workshop door. He apparently didn't know that the mechanic, Duncan, had asked me to "drop in so he could have a quick look" the week before. He over charged me the previous time. Not a good record. He gets aggressive and argumentative when you ask him questions, but I now know that it's because he doesn't understand enough about cars. I've been a customer for 7 years, but I'm not going back while he works there.

I commend Derek on his can-do attitude even though he was so busy. He kindly helped us get our car on the road and continue our travels safely and with confidence. Thanks Derek, we are so grateful.

I got the boot button replaced and they only charged for the labour because the colour was not an exact match. These guys are the best. All my experiences have been positive, so friendly, very honest, won't rip you off.
