We’ve created the directory site inKIAMA to help connect our community to all our wonderful local businesses! As such, we’re gifting every local business located within the Kiama Local Government Area a Basic listing, where we cover the cost, as our way of helping Kiama to thrive following on from the impact of COVID-19, bushfires, and drought on the local economy. Businesses may choose to upgrade to a Premium Listing.
As we kick off we need your help in the following ways:
1) We’ve been busy adding businesses but need to confirm we have all the information correct. For those who’ve already confirmed, we thank you! For those who haven’t, please search for either your business name/address/category under the “Listing” tab at the top of the Menu. To confirm it’s correct or to make any changes, you can click ‘Claim Listing’ or email us directly at inkiama.directory@gmail.com with updates. Please do not reply below, as we predict it will be difficult to filter through all the comments. Thanks! 
2) If you DON’T find your business, please click the blue “Submit A Listing” button in the upper right-hand corner and add your business. We’ll review the info, contact you & approve your listing.
3) If you don’t own a business, but know of one we should add, please let us know.
4) Also, if you see a business listing which you believe has closed due to COVID restrictions taking their toll, please let us know. We’ll confirm the closure and remove the listing so we can keep the directory current.
We know, because of human nature, some businesses will be sceptical to our “Free offer” and we understand that as our business gets many telemarketing calls & emails each day. 
So, for those who don’t know me, my name is Mark Croxford, and I live in Kiama Downs with my wife and two youngest daughters. We moved here from Canberra over five years ago. I am a Navy veteran with 20 years service, a former senior ministerial media and political adviser to several Federal Government ministers, with a background in corporate strategic & public relations, marketing, business development and stakeholder management.
I LOVE Kiama & all it has to offer! It’s heartbreaking to see the impact of the events of 2020 has had on our community, so this is one way to contribute to help local businesses & give back to our community!
So, PLEASE confirm your listing or add one for your business (Businesses Located in the Kiama Local Government Area Only) to the directory site. As businesses confirm listings we’ll give them a shout out on various social media platforms. Separately we will be advertising inKIAMA across the LGA and online to raise awareness for those businesses listed.
